Before you can become an Assistant Real Estate Agent in Australian Capital Territory (ACT), you will need to obtain a Certificate of Registration from Access Canberra.

What you will learn:

Access Canberra requires that you are competent in the following 5 core units of CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice prior to applying for a Certificate of Registration as an assistant real estate agent:

1. CPPREP4001 Prepare for professional practice in real estate
2. Legal & Ethical Practice (CPPREP4002 Access and interpret ethical practice in real estate & CPPREP4003 Access and interpret legislation in real estate)
3. Marketing in Real Estate (CPPREP4004 Establish marketing and communication profiles in real estate & CPPREP4102 Market property)
4. Trust Accounts (CPPREP4005 Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts & CPPREP4125 Transact in trust accounts)

Please note, you must also complete five additional units within the first 12 months of your registration.

Enrolment Process

1. To enrol the course, you will need to complete our online registration form by clicking "Enrol Now" button.
2. Participants are required to provide a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) & Digital Literacy evidence as a Government requirement. The purpose of this is to check your readiness and suitability for the course. We will send you the link to undertake the test once you submit registration from.

Assessments

Regardless of your chosen method of study, you will need to complete the required activities and assessments via the online student portal. Our assessments are designed to substantiate your ability to apply acquired skill and knowledge to the workplace. 

Your assessments will be marked within 7 days after submission.
