From 1 July 2025, class 1 and 2 licence agents that hold a Real Estate category licence and are Residential Real Estate Salespeople and Buyers Agents, must complete a minimum of 7 hours of training on compulsory topics.
Compulsory topics must be delivered by a training provider approved by the Strata and Property Services Commissioner.

Unlike previous years, you are no longer able to complete CPD by online self-paced training.
Class 1 agents have an additional requirement to spend a minimum of 5 hours attending a NSW Fair Trading-accredited event. The Australian Salesmasters Training Co (ASTC) has been approved by NSW Fair Trading to deliver this mandatory 5-hour CPD-accredited event for Class 1 agents. To enrol, please click HERE
Licensees-in-charge must have all CPD training detailed in the training plan for the agency, and this may be made up of topics most relevant to you.
NB: The CPD compulsory topics and approved list of elective topics for Class 1 and 2 licence agents are specified by the NSW Office of Fair Trading. These are non-accredited courses and will not lead to the issuance of AQF certification.
